Our livestock is being fed all kinds of things that their bodies are not designed to consume. The biggest culprit is grain. Cattle are designed to consume grass, not grain. Their digestive systems are designed for grass. When we feed them things other than grass, there bodies become confused. It’s expensive and takes time to fatten a cow on grass. It’s cheaper and quicker to feed it grain, infested with GMO’s, herbicides, pesticides and other things that mess with their digestion. Then we consume their bi-products.
